Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Portal Tools Online, accessible at https://toolora.id (“Toolora,” “we,” “us,” or the “Site”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our services.

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all pages, features, and tools available on Toolora, including document, image, academic, productivity, security, and other online tools.

2. Information We Process

We may process the following categories of information:

  • Usage information: tools used, pages visited, access time, referring page, device type, browser type, operating system, and similar technical information.
  • Security information: an IP address or hashed representation of an IP address, hashed session identifiers, user-agent information, and activity records needed to prevent spam, abuse, attacks, and unauthorized access.
  • Information submitted voluntarily: your name, email address, suggested tool name, problem reports, feedback, and message content when you submit a form.
  • Language preferences: the language you select or that is inferred from your browser settings. This preference may be stored in a cookie so the Site can display the appropriate language during future visits.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider may record IP addresses, access times, requested pages, request status, and other technical information as part of normal server operation and security.

3. Data Processed by the Tools

Most Toolora tools are designed to process data directly in your browser. When a tool operates locally, files, text, passwords, or other information entered into that tool are not intentionally uploaded to or permanently stored on our servers.

For example, passwords created using the Password Generator are generated inside your browser. We do not store the generated passwords.

Tool usage statistics are not designed to store the contents of documents, images, passwords, user input, or results generated by a tool.

If a tool requires server-side processing or a third-party service, this will be disclosed on the relevant tool page or interface. You should not enter highly sensitive, confidential, or third-party information unless you understand how the relevant tool processes that information.

4. Purposes of Processing

We use information to:

  • provide and operate the Site and its tools;
  • maintain user sessions and language preferences;
  • understand which tools are used and improve service quality;
  • respond to problem reports, questions, and suggestions;
  • detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • display, measure, and manage advertising;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and legitimate interests of Toolora and its users.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing may be based on consent, the need to provide a requested service, legitimate interests, or compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Toolora uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site. These may include:

  • Session cookies: used for sessions, security, and essential Site functions. These cookies generally expire when the session or browser is closed.
  • Language preference cookies: used to remember your chosen language and may be retained for up to one year.
  • Analytics cookies: used to understand Site usage and performance if an analytics service is enabled.
  • Advertising cookies: Google and other advertising providers may place or read cookies to serve advertisements, limit repeated advertisements, measure performance, and prevent invalid activity.

You can reject or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some Site features from operating correctly.

6. Google AdSense and Google Analytics

Toolora uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to collect information as a result of advertisements being served on the Site.

This information may be used to serve and measure advertisements, prevent fraud, estimate general location, and personalize advertisements where permitted by the user's choices and settings.

Toolora may also use Google Analytics or a similar analytics service if that feature is enabled. Analytics services may collect information about visits, devices, browsers, page interactions, and approximate location.

For more information, please read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can manage advertising personalization through Google Ads Settings.

7. Sharing of Information

We may share information on a limited basis with:

  • hosting, content delivery, security, and technical infrastructure providers;
  • Google and advertising or analytics providers used by the Site;
  • professional advisers or service providers that assist us in operating the Site;
  • government authorities or law enforcement where disclosure is legally required; and
  • relevant parties involved in a lawful merger, transfer, restructuring, or change in control of the Site.

We do not sell or rent the names, email addresses, or report contents submitted directly to us. Advertising providers may process technical data and advertising identifiers under their own policies, as explained in this Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve reports, comply with legal obligations, or support legitimate operational needs.

  • Session cookies generally remain active for the duration of the relevant session.
  • Language preferences may be retained for up to one year.
  • Problem reports, suggestions, and communications may be retained while they are needed for follow-up.
  • Usage and security logs may be retained for analysis, abuse prevention, and Site maintenance.

When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated where reasonably possible.

9. Information Security

We apply reasonable security measures, including HTTPS, session protection, request rate limits, input validation, administrative access controls, and hashing of selected identifiers.

However, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Processing

Some service providers, including Google and infrastructure providers, may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. In such cases, information will be handled subject to the safeguards required by applicable law and the policies of the relevant service provider.

11. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request information about how your personal data is processed;
  • request access to or a copy of your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • withdraw previously provided consent;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing; and
  • submit a complaint regarding personal data processing.

You may submit a request to admin@toolora.id. We may request additional information to verify your identity and ensure that information is not disclosed or deleted at the request of an unauthorized person.

12. Children's Privacy

Toolora is a general-audience service and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children without the consent of a parent or legal guardian where such consent is required by law.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information to us, they may contact admin@toolora.id to request that the information be reviewed or deleted.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links, advertisements, libraries, or services operated by third parties. We do not control the privacy practices of those parties. You should review the privacy policy of each third-party service before providing information to it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, technologies, data-processing practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
