Method and formula

Host requirements are sorted from largest to smallest. The minimum block size is the nearest power of two that can hold hosts + 2 addresses for network and broadcast. The prefix is calculated with 32 − log₂(block size).

Example: 192.168.10.0/24 with 100, 50, 20, and 10 hosts produces /25, /26, /27, and /28 blocks without overlap.
